Hello! My name is Kelli Jahn and I am so excited to be able to share my journey. In 2007 I gave birth to my second child. Soon after he was born I was diagnosed with postpartum depression. I was over weight, sad, and had major anxiety. The doctor put me on medication, which basically just numbed all of my emotion. I continued on and just felt lost. I couldn't laugh, I couldn't cry, and I didn't like who I saw when I looked in the mirror. I asked the doctor to take me off the medication, so we started the process of weaning me off slowly. The doctor suggested that I bring exercise into my life to help regulate the serotonin in my body. This is when I found yoga. I loved yoga immediately and started to go to classes several times a week. Unfortunately yoga just wasn't enough and I went back on my medication. I did this several times over the next couple years, but just really struggled to ground myself and connect my mind and body. Finally, March of 2013 I found CrossFit and BUTI yoga. When I first tried BUTI I was blown away. I bought Bizzie's first DVD called "Join the Revolution" and did the workouts daily. I was hooked and decided to try going off my antidepressant/anxiety medication one last time. This time I did it!! I never looked back! It took a few weeks, but every time I felt bad I did a BUTI workout and I felt better. This is when I decided that BUTI had to come to Clinton, IA. Every women NEEDS BUTI in their lives. In May of 2013 I went to Minneapolis, MN and completed my Level 1 certification with Bizzie Gold herself. I came home, taught my first class in June 2013. After a few months I decided to go back to Minneapolis and complete my Level 2 certification. On this same trip I picked up an additional certification in a HIIT program and am now a XY-Pro trainer as well. As of December 2014, I earned my 200 hour RYT. certified in Hot Yoga Sculpt and Strengthen & have created my own rebounding-yoga fusion format.

After years with struggling with crash dieting, eating disorders and poor self-esteem I found my self searching of course for some thing new which is where I came across a site boasting about how strong is the new skinny. And finally it hit me its about having a strong healthy body and taking care of it and not punishing it trying to get "thin" so I went full force ahead trying any and every workout possible from running to biking lifting to yoga trying to find "my thing" and found out I loved it all. The way it made me feel so good and strong. I loved my body again for what it was capable of doing and the physical changes where just a plus. I wanted to share that feeling with others, that's why I became a fitness instructor and have been doing so for the past 6 years. I love showing people how loving and taking care of your body brings you confidence, health, (mental and physical) and those results we are all looking for!!

Shawn Sellers, Clubbell Yoga Instructor & Circular Strength Coach I have been practicing yoga for 8 years of my life. Yoga made me think of my health and helped me dare to change my life. I was a power lifter 8 years ago and if you told me that i would be practicing yoga and then becoming a certified Clubbell Yoga teacher i would have laughed in your face then. I was 275lbs, believed in eating whatever, and lifting heavy weights. The 1st time I attended a yoga session I couldn’t believe how hard it was to hold a yoga pose. It turned a switch on in my head I was strong but not fit/balanced. so I started training movement and mobility which changed my life. Then I became a movement specialist in Circular Strength Training/CST and found Clubbell Yoga which helped me accelerate my yoga practice and became certified in both CST and Clubbell Yoga/CBY. I got into nutrition lost almost a 100lbs and became the healthiest I have ever been in my life. I believe in preventing injury, recovery and health 1st in life so DARE TO CHANGE! I’m here to help you in that journey.
I'm Rachel Culleny & I love to share yoga with anyone who wants to practice. I strive for a non judgemental teaching style and kindness oriented philosophy. I seek to meet you where you are by connecting with your needs, challenges, and aspirations. When I started practicing yoga I was struggling with my mental and physical health. I thought I was too awkward and antisocial to be "good" at yoga. But I found with every hour of practice my awareness and strength grew. The community of teachers and students were supportive and slowly but surely I came out of my shell. Completing a 200 hr teacher training course and 50 hours of training in Yin yoga has given me a foundation in sequencing, philosophy, and meditation. I want to show you how to utilize these tools to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Most of all I want you to leave class feeling refreshed and relaxed.
